About Us

“Proedge” as the name signifies is a gateway to get an edge, above the rest in our professional lives. In a profession like CA one has to not just be updated, but in fact be ahead of the times.

During the period of our studies, most of our time was spent either in office or on cramming the endless syllabus. The weekends, were dedicated to the other “essential activities” like sleeping, catching up with friends and family or watching movies.Although there are plenty of informative resources available at our disposal, such as The Student Journal published monthly by our esteemed institute to simplify various topics for the students or the business news dailies, but due to paucity of time we are mostly unable to make full use of them. And they are simply left adorning our desks or referred to, only to see the major amendments or exam related news.Well, at that point of time, one can afford to be lackadaisical about it, but later on in the professional life, this can prove to be very costly!

Post qualification, one is raring to go, there is a fire in the belly. The achiever inside is willing to give in everything he has and excel professionally. However, there is very little time for anything else, let alone staying updated. And this can prove to be a major constraint in the professional life.

Given the above, the biggest problem is, “How do we update ourselves in the very little time we have, on the innumerable topics, which are scattered all over?”

Proedge, is an attempt to solve this problem. It is an initiative, by a team of four friends, Siddhartha Deekonda, Pankaj Taneja, Nupur Goel and Pranav Pareek. We aim to gather updates and information relevant for our profession and put them all at a single destination.We shall be incorporating, a number of articles and PPTs so that complex issues can be simplified and read conveniently. The readers are also welcome to contribute any material they wish to, which can be useful for the fraternity at large. After all, we believe in- “READ, SHARE, CELEBRATE!”

For the ease of access, we shall soon launch a mobile application and a Facebook page and a Twitter page, so that one can be in touch, even on the move.
